When gravity.labs was asked to build excitement for the world’s largest online comic strip site, gocomics.com, at New York Comic-Con we had to call in a few old friends. With help from Calvin, Hobbes, Garfield, and plenty of other favorites, we built buzz around the event with outdoor advertising, a full-immersive booth experience, and a geofenced digital game that engaged and challenged fans while waiting in line. By the end of the week, we had helped tens of thousands of fans rediscover beloved favorites and introduced them to new ones.
